The Arizona Cardinals officially waived LB Praise Martin-Oguike from injured reserve with a settlement and placed LB Bryson Albright on injured reserve after clearing waivers.
Martin-Oguike, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Dolphins cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Unfortunately, Miami elected to not sign him to their practice squad and he wound up sitting out the entire 2017 season. The Cardinals signed him to a futures contract this past January before waiving him a few weeks ago.
During this four-year college career, Martin-Oguike recorded 123 tackles, 27.5 tackles for a loss, 17.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, four recoveries, an interception and a pass defense.
