Chargers Claim Former Eagles DE/OLB Joe Kruger Off Waivers

 

ESPN’s Field Yates reports that the Chargers have claimed DE/OLB Joe Kruger off of waivers from the Eagles.

Kruger was one of 14 players cut a few days ago as the Eagles worked to get down to 75 players ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.

Kruger, 22, is a former seventh-round pick of the Eagles and known for being the younger brother of Browns OLB Paul Kruger. Last year, Kruger was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a shoulder injury before the start of the season.
