Chargers Sign K Caleb Sturgis To Two-Year Deal

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Chargers are expected to sign K Caleb Sturgis to a contract.

  • Adam Schefter confirms the news and adds that it’s a two-year contract.

Sturgis, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2013. He spent two years in Miami before he was among their final roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season.

The Eagles signed him to a contract a few weeks later and he received a one-year extension in 2016.

In 2017, Sturgis appeared in one game and converted all three of his field goal attempts including one over 50 yards, but was placed on injured reserve with a hip flexor the following week.
