Chiefs Cut Three Players

The Kansas City Chiefs officially cut three players on Monday including DB Sheldon Price, TE Anthony Firkser and NT Mike Purcell.

Price, 26, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2013. He was on an off of the Colts’ active roster for two years before he was waived with an injury settlement during the 2015 season.

The Ravens later signed Price to their practice squad and brought him back on exclusive rights contracts the past two years. Unfortunately, Price was placed on injured reserve a few weeks into the 2017 season and later waived.

The Chiefs signed Price to a futures contract this past January.

In 2016, Price appeared in four games but did not record a statistic.
