Chiefs Expect Matt Cassel To Be Starting Heading Into Next Season

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Chiefs QB Matt Cassel will “for sure” be the team’s starting quarterback at the start of training camp.

Kansas City has said that they expect to bring in some competition at the quarterback position and one option in particular could to re-sign QB Kyle Orton.

Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel has publicly supported Cassel so he’ll be given every opportunity to be the team’s starting quarterback next season.
