The Kansas City Chiefs announced Wednesday that they’ve signed DE Nate Orchard to a contract and added TE David Wells to their practice squad.
Orchard, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Browns back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $4.466 million contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season when the Browns elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Orchard had a brief stint with the Bills this season.
In 2018, Orchard has appeared in three games for the Bills and recorded four tackles and no sacks.
