The Kansas City Chiefs officially waived OLB Victor Ochi on Monday and signed LB Tourek Williams to a contract.
Ochi, 23, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of stony Brook back in May. He was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason, as the Ravens’ trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
The Jets later signed him to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and was on and off of the unit util the Chiefs signed him to their active roster this past January.
In 2016, Ochi appeared in two games and recorded one tackle for the Chiefs.
During his career at Stony Brook, Ochi recorded 135 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 34 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles over the course of 35 games played.
