David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports that the Cowboys want to re-sign OL Joe Looney and could have a deal in place before him to return as soon as Monday.

This comes shortly after the news that the Cowboys are expected to finalize deals with Cameron Fleming and Marcus Martin.

Looney, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2012. He spent three years in San Francisco before he was unfortunately among the team’s final roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season.

Looney spent a year with the Titans before the Cowboys signed him to a two-year contract for the 2016 season.

In 2017, Looney was active for all 16 games for the Cowboys and played a total of 94 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
