Dolphins Host Free Agent DT C.J. Mosley For A Visit, Three Teams Interested

Adam Caplan, citing a league source, reports that the Dolphins hosted free agent DT C.J. Mosley for a visit on Tuesday.

  • Dave Birkett reports that Mosley’s visit with the Dolphins was on Monday.
  • Mosley reportedly has three teams interested in him right now, but Birkett doesn’t say who these teams are.

Last week, there was talk that Mosely could return to the Lions. However, a source later told ESPN’s Josina Anderson: “Contrary to published reports, the Lions have moved on from C.J. Mosley.

Mosley, 31, was suspended for marijuana possession after it was discovered in his hotel while the team was in London for their game against the Falcons last season.

In 2014, Mosley appeared in 15 games and recorded 26 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble for the Lions. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 26 defensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.

We have Mosley listed as the No. 14 player in our Top 25 Best Available Free Agents list.
