Dolphins Open To Re-Signing Reggie Bush

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that team sources have informed him that the Dolphins intend to re-sign RB Reggie Bush “at their price, not at his.”

Miami has two young backs in Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller, so it’s not as though they have to overpay for a free agent running back. Bush, 28, figures to seek the best deal possible versus signing with a team at a discount. Running backs have seen their salaries decrease in recent years, so Bush isn’t guaranteed to secure a sizable contract, even though he is one of the best available backs on the open market.

We have Bush listed as the No. 47 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
