The Miami Dolphins announced Wednesday that they’ve signed CB Jonathan Dowling to their practice squad and released QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson from the unit, per Adam Caplan.

Here’s what the Dolphins practice squad currently looks like:

  1. RB Rajion Neal
  2. RB Jonas Gray
  3. OT Donald Hawkins
  4. C Sam Brenner
  5. DT Deandre Coleman
  6. LB Mike Hull
  7. TE Tim Semisch
  8. TE Jake Stoneburner (Exception)
  9. S Cedric Thompson
  10. WR Uzoma Nwachukwu

Dowling, 23, was the Raiders seventh-round pick back in May of last year out of Western Kentucky. His rookie season was cut short after he was placed on season-ending injured reserve in December.

The Raiders ultimately elected to cut him loose back in late August.

In 2014, Dowling appearing in seven games and recording four tackles while playing a total of 13 snaps, according Pro Football Focus.

I hope Dowling’s better than the last Raider we got!(Phillip Wheeler) Thompson sucked any way, & with CB’s like Jamar Taylor & Will Davis who has never been able to play a whole 16 game season in their entire carriers, we could use all of the CB help that we can get!!!(Razor58)GO PHINS UP!!??
