Dolphins Waive DE Farrington Huguenin With Injury Settlement

The Miami Dolphins officially waived DE Farrington Huguenin from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Tuesday.

Huguenin, 24, wound up signing on with the Dolphins back in May after going undrafted out of Kentucky. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Dolphins and is set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.

The Dolphins waived Huguenin with an injury designation last week before he cleared waivers and reverted to their injured reserve list.

During his college career, Huguenin recorded 97 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and three pass defenses.
