Draft Rumors: Bengals, Broncos, Cowboys, Dolphins, & Packers

Bengals

  • According to Tony Pauline, there’s a “very good chance” the Bengals take an offensive tackle in round one.
  • Pauline mentions that the word right now is that Cincinnati is debating between Oregon OT Jake Fisher and Texas A&M OT Cedric-Ogbuehi.

Broncos & Cowboys

Sources tell Tony Pauline that Mississippi LB Benardrick McKinney spent an “extensive amount of time” the past few days talking with the Broncos and Cowboys.

Pauline mentions that the Cowboys were able to get a last minute workout in with McKinney.

In the event that Wake Forest CB Kevin Johnson is no longer available to Dallas at No. 27 overall, they will “strongly consider” either McKinney or UCLA LB Eric Kendricks.

“I’ve heard so much chatter connecting the Cowboys and McKinney the past three weeks I’ve got to believe where there’s smoke there’s fire,” writes Pauline.

Dolphins

  • Pauline reports that the Dolphins are hoping that Georgia RB Todd Gurley isn’t take in the first 10 picks.
  • According to Pauline, Miami wouldn’t hesitate to draft Gurley at No. 14 overall if he’s still on the baord.

Packers

Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net reports that Packers senior personal director Alonzo Highsmith has been “pushing hard” for Miami LB Denzel Perryman in round one.

This would, of course, allow the Packers to move Clay Matthews back to outside linebacker.

However, Pauline mentions that the belief with the Packers is that they would value a cornerback in round one over an inside linebacker. One name that keeps coming up in regards to the Packers, according to Pauline, is Utah DB Eric Rowe.
