Falcons Sign LB Davis Tull To Practice Squad, Cut P Michael Palardy

The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they’ve signed LB Davis Tull to their practice squad and waive P Michael Palardy from the unit.

The Falcons’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR J.D. McKissic
  2. S Sharrod Neasman
  3. QB Matt Simms
  4. TE D.J. Tialavea
  5. CB Deji Olatoye
  6. DT Joe Vellano
  7. WR Nick Williams
  8. OT Carter Bykowski
  9. RB Terron Ward

Tull, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Saints back in 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was unfortunately cut loose coming out of the preseason. Tull returned to the team soon after but recently waived.

During the preseason, Tull recorded four tackles for the Saints over the course of four games.

Tull has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.

Palardy, 24, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2014. He lasted less than a month in New York before catching on with the Raiders.

The Rams later signed him off of the Raiders’ practice squad and brought him back on a future/reserve deal before cutting him at the start of the 2015 season.

Palardy caught on briefly with the Panthers but was waived after the team signed veteran P Mike Scifres to a contract. Shortly after that, the Ravens signed him to a contract before waiving him soon after.

The Colts signed him for a brief period and he later joined the Browns for another short stint. The Falcons just signed him to their practice squad last week.

Palardy has yet to appear in an NFL game.
