Jets Sign CB Arthur Maulet To Futures Deal

The New York Jets have signed CB Arthur Maulet to a futures contract for the 2019 season on Tuesday, according to his agency.

Maulet, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

The Saints waived Maulet back in September and he was later claimed by the Colts. Maulet would return to the Saints’ practice squad last year. 

In 2018, Maulet appeared in six games and recorded nine tackles and no interceptions.
