Jets Waive/Injured CB Bryson Keeton, Sign CB David Rivers

The New York Jets waived CB Bryson Keeton with an injury designation on Sunday and signed CB David Rivers to a contract.

Should Keeton pass through waivers unclaimed on Monday, he will revert to the team’s injured reserve list.

Keeton, 24, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Montana State back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and was later added to their practice squad before being called up toward the end of the year.

In 2016, Keeton was active for one game and recorded one tackle.
