Broncos

Troy E. Renck of ABC Denver writes it appears QB Trevor Siemian locked down the Broncos’ starting quarterback role in Saturday’s preseason victory against the Rams.

Broncos HC Gary Kubiak also said that he has came away impressed with Siemian’s performance.

I am impressed. I think Trevor’s very calm. I can tell by the way he handles the team in the huddle. He has control of what’s going on,” said Kubiak. “What I see is a guy getting better.”

Falcons

  • Falcons HC Dan Quinn said seventh-round WR Devin Fuller may require surgery to repair a shoulder injury. (D. Orlando Ledbetter)

Packers

  • Packers HC Mike McCarthy said there is “no long-term concern” with S Morgan Burnett‘s back injury and suggested that he will be ready for Week 1 of the regular season. (Ryan Wood)

Steelers

  • According to Jeremy Fowler, Steelers RT Marcus Gilbert appears to have a “significant” elbow injury and surgery is a possibility. However, Gilbert said that he intends to play through the injury.
