NFL Notes: Tom Brady, Bengals, Bills, & Steelers

Tom Brady

Bengals

  • Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com writes that RB James Wilder could see some snaps at fullback as the team looks to find a potential backup for Ryan Hewitt.
  • According to Hobson, the Bengals liked fourth-round DB Josh Shaw so much that they actually made calls about trading up for him, but managed to walk away with him at No. 120 overall.

Bills

  • Mike Rodak reports that the Bills still aren’t interested in being featured on Hard Knocks, despite a report from earlier in the day that mentioned they were among three teams being considered for the show.

Steelers

Steelers DE Cameron Heyward mentioned that he doesn’t anticipate “too many changes” to their defense in 2015, even after long-time DC Dick LeBeau parted ways with the team.

“I don’t think there are going to be too many changes,” Heyward said, via Steelers.com. “It’s going to be the same details. We will have a couple of new wrinkles, but we won’t share them now.”
