Packers Sign OL Dillon Day From Broncos’ Practice Squad

Mike Klis reports that the Packers have signed OL Dillon Day from the Broncos’ practice squad to their active roster.

Day, 26, wound up signing on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May of 2015. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad the first two years and returned to the Broncos on a future/reserve contract this past January.

However, the Broncos cut him loose as their trimmed their roster down to 53 players. Day was added to their practice squad soon after before he was called up to the active roster.

The Broncos waived him and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Colts. Unfortunately, Indianapolis cut him loose soon after. Denver re-signed him to their practice squad in November.

Day has yet to appear in an NFL game.
