Greg Auman reports that the Patriots are re-signing RB Joey Iosefa to their practice squad now that he has cleared waivers.
The Patriots waived Iosefa on Monday after promoting him to their active roster for past two weeks.
Iosefa, 24, was taken in the seventh-round by the Buccaneers of this year’s NFL draft out of Hawaii. He had three years remaining on his four-year, $2,348,340 rookie contract when the Tampa Bay decided to waived him.
The Patriots signed Iosefa to their practice squad back in October before they promoted to their active roster a few weeks ago.
This season, Iosefa has appeared in two games and ran for 51 yards on 15 carries (3.4 YPC) and no touchdowns.
