Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is expected to be able to return in Week 12 and play in their game against the Jets.
According to Schefter, Gronkowski has shown improvement in practice and it’s to the point where he’s expected to return to game action.
Gronkowski is dealing with back and ankle injuries this season.
Gronkowski, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2010. He is in the sixth year of his eight-year, $55.23 million contract that included $13.17 million guaranteed.
In 2018, Gronkowski has appeared in seven games for the Patriots and recorded 29 receptions for 448 yards receiving (15.4 YPC) and scored one touchdown.
