Raiders Place CB Tarell Brown On Season-Ending I.R.

Fallon Smith of CSN Bay Area reports that the Raiders are placing CB Tarell Brown on season-ending injured reserve.

Brown has been dealing with foot injury that’s bothered him the last three weeks, but with the year almost over, it probably makes more sense for them to give Brown the time he needs to get healthy.

He signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Raiders back in March. The Raiders could consider bringing him back for another year, but this will likely depend on who the next general manager will be.

Brown, 29, has recorded 55 tackles and four passes defended this year over the course of 14 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 77 cornerback out of 110 qualifying players this season.
