The Los Angeles Rams officially signed TE Jake Stoneburner to a contract on Thursday.
Stoneburner, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Green Bay before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season.
The Dolphins later signed him to their practice squad and brought him back on a future/reserve contract last year. Stoneburner once again returned to the team in 2016, this time on an exclusive rights deal. However, the team cut him loose last week.
In 2015, Stoneburner appeared in 11 games for the Dolphins, catching five passes for 47 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
