Redskins Re-Signing CB Richard Crawford

Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan reports that the Redskins are re-signing CB Richard Crawford to their 53-man roster.

Crawford, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Redskins back in 2012. He was unable to make the team coming out of the preseason and wound up on Washington’s practice squad before he was later waived a few weeks ago.

Crawford hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since his rookie season when he recorded 18 tackles, one interception, a fumble recovery and two pass defenses over the course of 10 games.

Last year, Crawford sat out the entire season after he sustained a torn ACL during the team’s third preseason game.
