The Washington Redskins announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DB Kenny Ladler to a futures contract for the 2018 season.
As of now, the Redskins have signed 14 players to futures deals including:
- OL Alex Balducci
- DL Tavaris Barnes
- TE Chris Bazile
- RB Kenny Hilliard
- OL Cameron Jefferson
- OL John Kling
- LB Alex McCalister
- LB Cassanova McKinzy
- DL Ondre Pipkins
- DB James Sample
- S Orion Stewart
- QBย Stephen Morris
- DL Montori Hughes
- DB Kenny Ladler
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Ladler, 25, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt back in 2014. He was waived at the start of the 2014 season and later signed to their practice squad.
After returning to the Bills the following year, Ladler was once again among their final roster cuts.
Ladler spent the past two years in the CFL with the Edmonton Eskimos. He appeared in 34 games and recorded 156 tackles, five interceptions, three fumbles forced and scored one touchdown.
