Bengals Officially Sign QB Jason Campbell

Jason Campbell tells Josina Anderson of ESPN that he has passed his physical and has officially signed with the Bengals.

“He can play and win games for you if you need him,” HC Marvin Lewis said of Campbell, per Aaron Wilson.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Bengals have reached an agreement with veteran QB Jason Campbell on a one-year deal.

Campbell reunites with his former head coach Hue Jackson who is now in charge of the Bengals’ offense.

The Browns released Campbell a week ago before his $250,000 roster bonus due.

Last year, Campbell appeared in nine games, completing 56.8 percent of his passes for 2,015 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
