Report: Bills Concerned About The Jets & Jaguars Targeting QB Ryan Nassib

ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio reported on SportsCenter this morning that Jets OC Marty Mornhinweg is “very high” on Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib.

Paolantonio adds that the Bills are reportedly concerned that the Jets could take Nassib ahead of them at some point in the first two-rounds.

“The Buffalo Bills want Ryan Nassib,” said Paolantonio. “But they’re very concerned the Jets will take him later in the first round. So the Bills may be forced to take him at No. 8.”

Pro Football Talk has also heard that the Bills are worried about the Jaguars grabbing Nassib at No. 33 overall as well.

New York has the No. 9 and No. 13 overall picks in round one, as well as the seventh pick of the second-round, which sits just ahead of the Bills. If Buffalo is truly concerned about the Jets grabbing him, then the only way they can ensure that they walk away from this draft with Nassib is if they use their No. 8 overall pick to take him, like Paolantonio suggested.

We have the Bills drafting Nassib at No. 8 overall in our recently updated 2013 NFL Mock Draft.
