ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Chiefs OT Branden Albert has reached an agreement with the Miami Dolphins on a 5-year $46 million deal, with $25 million guaranteed.
This news does not come as a surprise, as the Dolphins pursued Albert right from the start of the so-called “legal tampering” period beginning March 8th.
Albert, 29, will protect the blindside of young QB Ryan Tannehill. Â Considering the high amount of guaranteed money, Miami clearly values the Virginia product.
