- According to Auman, it “looks promising” that the Bucs will face Underwood twice next season.
Underwood, 27, seems to always pop up on the transaction wire as the Buccaneers and Patriots have released and later re-signed him multiple times in the past two years.
He is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars out of Rutgers back in 2009. Last year, he appeared in 12 games and totaled 24 receptions for 440 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
The Panthers are obviously looking for value at the receiver position, but it appears as though a deal could come together in the coming days.
