Saints Place CB Keenan Lewis On Season-Ending I.R.

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Saints have placed CB Keenan Lewis on season-ending injured reserve.

• The Saints also signed DB Chris Owens to a contract.

Lewis suffered a left leg injury during their Week 10 game against the Redskins.

Lewis, 29, is entering the third year of his five-year, $25.5 million contract that included $20.95 million guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $850,000 for the 2015 season.

Lewis’ 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing in six games and recording six tackles and two pass defenses for the Saints’ defense.
