Ramon Antonio Vargas of the New Orleans Advocate reports that the Saints are promoting WR Seantavius Jones to their 53-man roster on Thursday.
This move comes just a few days after the Saints began making some roster changes, which included waiving WR Joe Morgan.
Jones, 22, signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Valdosta State state back in May. He was ultimately unable to make the team’s final roster coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to the team’s practice squad.
During his three years at Valdosta State, Jones caught 94 passes for 1,597 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns.
