A league source tells NFLTR that Purdue WR DeAngelo Yancey has scheduled pre-draft visits with the Seahawks, Chargers and Titans and will work out for the Raiders and Titans before this year’s draft.
NFL teams have already begun the process of lining up visits with draft prospects, despite the fact that we’re less than a week into free agency.
Yancey, 22, surprisingly wasn’t invited to this year’s Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, despite a solid college career at Purdue. He did, however, have a good showing during East-West Shrine game and will be the radar of a number of teams this April.
During his four-year college career at Purdue, Yancey caught 141 passes for 2,344 yards receiving (16.6 YPR) and 20 touchdowns for the Boilermakers. As a senior, Yancey finished in the top-10 in receptions yards and touchdowns while leading the league in yards per reception. He was voted second-team All-Big Ten last year.
