Steelers WR Antonio Brown Expected To Be 100% Healthy For Playoff Game Next Week

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Steelers WR Antonio Brown (calf) will be 100 percent healthy for next week’s playoff game.

In fact, Rapoport says that Brown would have been able to play today had Pittsburgh needed him. Beyond that, the Steelers should be at full strength for their game.

Brown was attempting to make a catch in the end zone a few weeks ago when his leg appeared to get somewhat trapped under a Patriots’ defender and suffer the calf injury.

Brown, 29, is a former sixth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2010. He’s currently in the first year of his five-year, $72.71 million contract that included a $19 million signing bonus and stands to make base salaries of $7.875 million and 12.625 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Brown had appeared in 14 games and caught 101 passes for 1,533 yards receiving and nine touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 1 receiver out of 115 qualifying players.
