Texans RB D’Onta Foreman (PUP, Achilles) Returning To Practice This Week

Texans HC Bill O’Brien announced Wednesday that RB D’Onta Foreman (PUP, Achilles) will return to practice this week, per Aaron Wilson.

This will open up a three-week window of time for Foreman to be added to the Texans’ active roster or he would revert to the reserve/PUP list, which would end his 2018 season.

Foreman is working his way back from a season-ending Achilles injury he suffered last year.

Foreman, 22, was selected with the No. 89 overall pick by the Texans last year. He signed a four-year contract worth $3,159,484, which includes a signing bonus of $759,484 and stands to make a base salary of $678,500 for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Foreman rushed for 327 yards on 78 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 83 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 10 games. His 2017 season came to an end with him being placed on injured reserve.
