On Friday, Darren Urban posted the list of players who will be in attendance for the Cardinals’ rookie minicamp this weekend, which includes veteran CB Steve Williams.
Williams recently tried out for the 49ers but wasn’t signed to a contract.
Williams, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Chargers back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.353 million rookie contract when he was cut loose coming out of the preseason last year.
The Rams later signed him to a contract at the start of the regular season before cutting him loose soon after. After a brief stint with the Chargers, Williams returned to the Rams during the 2016 season.
In 2016, Williams appeared in six games and recorded 18 tackles, no interceptions and two pass defenses.
