49ers Release DT Kapron Lewis-Moore From Injured Reserve With Settlement

The 49ers announced Monday they have released DT Kapron Lewis-Moore from injured reserve with a settlement.

Lewis-Moore had signed on with the 49ers on a futures deal for 2019.

Lewis-Moore, 29, is a former sixth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2013. The Ravens elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason but later signed him to their practice squad.

The Bears signed Lewis-Moore to a futures contract in 2017 only to waive him coming out of the preseason. Lewis-Moore finished out the season on the Ravens’ practice squad.

The Jaguars signed Lewis-Moore to a futures contract in February of 2018 but he was waived with an injury designation during the preseason and reverted to the team’s injured reserve list. Jacksonville cut him loose soon after.

In 2015, Lewis-Moore appeared in five games for the Bears and recorded three tackles and no sacks.
