49ers Sign OLB Tank Carradine To One-Year Extension

The San Francisco 49ers officially announced that they’ve signed OLB Tank Carradine to a one-year contract extension on Tuesday.

“Tank is a hard-working, dedicated player who is making excellent progress in his transition from DE to OLB,” said General Manager Trent Baalke. “We look forward to his continued development and contributions to our organization.”

Matt Barrow of the Sacramento Bee reports that the 49ers have signed OLB Tank Carradine to a one-year contract extension.

  • Ian Rapoport reports Carradine receives a signing bonus of $1.25 million.

Carradine, 26, is a former second-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $4.948 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $1,029,684 for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Carradine appeared in 14 games and recorded 22 tackles, one sack, and a forced fumble for the 49ers.
