Jason Cole continues to hear that Aaron Kromer could land with the Rams’ as their offensive coordinator, considering his background working with offensive lines, which happens to be something new HC Sean McVay is looking for.
The Rams’ offensive line continues to struggle, despite the fact that the team has made a major investment in the group in recent years.
Kromer, 49, began his NFL coaching career with the Raiders back in 2001 as their assistant offensive line coach. After three years in Oakland, Kromer departed for a position with the Buccaneers and eventually caught on with the Saints in 2008.
During his time in New Orleans, he actually served as interim head coach before taking over as the Bears’ offensive coordinator in 2013. Kromer spent the past two seasons with the Bills as their offensive line coach.
We’ll have more regarding the Rams’ offensive coordinator search as the news available.
