Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier mentioned during today’s press conference that RB Adrian Peterson is “very close” to returning to game action, per Tom Pelissero.
This is interesting considering that there were reports from yesterday that he could be out for Week 14’s game and possible even the season.
Peterson has been dealing with high-ankle sprain that he suffered a few weeks ago but we may have to wait until further in the week to know whether Frazier was just being optimistic about his Pro Bowl running back.
