- Football Scoop reports that the Dolphins are hiring Alabama special teams quality control coach Brendan Farrell as a special teams assistant.
Jets
- Brian Costello of the New York Post reports that the Jets will still employ a 3-4 base defense under new DC Gregg Williams.
- Costello says the Jets are in the market for a pass rusher at No. 3 overall in this year’s draft and lists Kentuckyโs Josh Allen as a “perfect fit” for them.
- According to Costello, impending free agent Henry Anderson could benefit from the Jets sticking with a 3-4 defense and possibly return for the 2019 season.
