Bengals
- Tom Pelissero reports that Bengals CB William Jackson is expected to miss at least a few weeks because of a shoulder injury.
- This comes after the news that fellow Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick is sidelined by a knee injury.
Browns
- Browns HC Freddie Kitchens says he has no doubt QB Baker Mayfield (hip) will play against the Patriots next week. (Scott Petrak)
- According to Kitchens, all of the tests on Mayfield’s hip came back fine. (Mary Kay Cabot)
- Browns WR Rashard Higgins said heโs surprised he didnโt play the last two games because heโs healthy and believes he could help their offense and QB Baker Mayfield get on track. (Nate Ulrich)
- Higgins did, however, say heโs confident heโll play against the Patriots on Oct. 27.
- Browns CBs Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams (hamstrings) both said they’re practicing at full speed and expect to play against in Week 8. (Scott Petrak)

- Josina Anderson hears that the current plan for newly acquired CB Marcus Peters is to have him practice Thursday and Friday and to play on Sunday against the Seahawks.
- A source tells Anderson that Peters is “fired up” about joining the Ravens.
