Alabama RB Josh Jacobs Dealing With Groin Injury, Will Skip Several Combine Drills

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Alabama RB Josh Jacobs is dealing with a groin injury that will prevent him from taking part in several drills at the Combine this week. 

Rapoport does, however, adds that the groin injury is not considered a major issue for Jacobs moving forward. 

Jacobs, 5-10, 216 lb, is considered to be the top running back in this year’s draft class by a number draft analysts and could end up being a first-round pick when all is said and done. 

During his three-year college career, Jacobs rushed for 1,491 yards on 251 carries (5.9 YPC) to go along with 48 receptions for 571 yards receiving and 21 total touchdowns over the course of 40 games. He also totaled 494 kick return yards and 27 punt return yards and two total touchdowns.
