The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday that they’ve activated S Deon Bush from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
This turned out to be a short stay on the COVID-19 list for Bush, as he was placed on the list last Sunday.
The Bears still have C Cody Whitehair and G Lachavious Simmons on the list.
Bush, 27, was drafted by the Bears in the fourth round out of Miami in 2016. He signed a four-year rookie contract worth $2.86 million and made a base salary of $720,000 in 2019.
Chicago brought Bush back on a one-year contract worth $4 million this past March.
In 2020, Bush has appeared in six games for the Bears and recorded four tackles, one interception and a pass defense.
