Bears Are “Taking A Look” At RB Steve Slaton

Vaughn McClure tweets that the Chicago Bears are “taking a look” at free agent RB Steve Slaton, following last nights injury to Matt Forte.

Reports from earlier in the day suggested that Forte may have suffered a high-ankle sprain, which would leave them relatively thin at the running back position. McClure notes that Chicago had interest in Slaton months ago, so the move would not be a huge shock given their current predicament.

Michael Bush becomes the Bears featured back for the time being.
