This officially opens three-week windows of time for the Bears to add themย to their active roster or he willย spend the duration of the 2017 season on injured reserve.
Hall, 23, is a former fourth-round pick out of Northern Iowa by the Bears in the 2016 NFL Draft. He is in the second year of a four-year, $2.851 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $540,000 this year.
He was placed on the team’s injured reserve back in September due to a hamstring injury.
In 2016, Hall appeared in eight games for Chicago and recorded nine total tackles and three pass defenses.
