Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Bears have spoken to Bengals free agent P Kevin Huber, given that Pat O’Donnell is slated to hit free agency.
Huber, 32, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2009. He has played all nine seasons in Cincinnati and is currently testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2017, Huber appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and totaled 3,691 punt yards on 88 attempts (41.94 YPA) and three touchbacks.
