The Chicago Bears promoted FBย Paul Lasike to their active roster on Saturday, according to Brad Biggs.
Lasike, 26, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Bearsโ practice squad.
Chicago elected to bring Lasike back on a future/reserve contract this past January before they waived him coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.ย He’s been on and off of the Bears’ active roster this season.
In 2016, Lasike has appeared in four games and ran for three yards on a two carries and no touchdowns.
