Vaughters, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2015. However, he was unfortunately among the Packers roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Packers later signed Vaughters to their practice squad and he had brief stints with the Patriots and Chargers before signing on with the Calgary Stampeders for the 2017 season.
The Bears signed Vaughters to a futures contract this January and has bounced on and off their practice squad.
During his two seasons with the Stampeders, Vaughters recorded 50 tackles and 11 sacks over the course of 33 games.
