The Bears announced on Wednesday they have promoted TE Jesper Horsted to the active roster.

Horsted, 22, played wide receiver at Princeton before transitioning to tight end in the NFL. He signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL draft.
Horsted was waived coming out of the preseason by Chicago and later re-signed to the practice squad.
During his four-year career at Princeton, Horsted caught 196 passes for 2703 yards (13.8 YPC) and 28 touchdowns.
