Bears Re-Sign CB Demontre Hurst To A Two-Year Contract

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears have re-signed CB Demontre Hurst to a two-year contract.

Hurst, 23, signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma back in 2013. He was an exclusive rights free agent, so this will be a very modest contract for Hurst.

In 2014, he appeared in 15 games for the Bears and recorded 40 tackles, one interception, a forced fumble and a pass defense.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 51 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players last year.
